You must have often come across a YouTube video which you would like to download and save on your computer. In this article I will explain the different techniques, that can be used to download and save YouTube videos to your computer.
( I ) Download and save YouTube videos using YouTubex
This is the most easiest method and does not require any third party application to be installed on your computer.
- First goto YouTube and copy the address of the video which will be something like http://youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxx
- Then goto YouTubeX and paste the address you copied in step 1 in the box on the top of the site.
( II ) Download and save YouTube videos using Keepvid.com
This is another easy method and does not require any third party application to be installed on your computer.
- First goto YouTube and copy the address of the video which will be something like http://youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxx
- Then goto Keepvid and paste the address you copied in step 1 in the box on the site.
( III ) Download and save YouTube videos using Greasemonkey
This method is applicable only to those users who use Mozilla Firefox. If you do not use it its time you downloaded and used it.
- Download and install the Greasemonkey extension from here.Restart Firefox.
- Then click here and select “Install script”.
- Now whenever you will go to a YouTube webpage you will see a prominent download link on the top.J ust click it and you can download your favourite video on YouTube to your computer.
