Are you stuck with a buggy software on your computer that just won’t uninstall using the “Add or Remove Programs” (referred to as AORP hereafter) in the Control Panel ? A reinstall of the software won’t work either. Then stop worrying and download the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.
With the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, you can remove a program’s Windows Installer configuration information.
- Provides a dialog box in which you can select one or more programs that were installed by Windows Installer.
- Removes the files and registry settings that make up the Windows Installer configuration information for programs that you select.
Note : The Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove files of any programs that are installed by Windows Installer. So the files still remain there, just the entry in the AORP gets removed. After running the utility, reinstall the software at the same location and then uninstall it from AORP in the Control Panel.
