Finally a new laptop. I have brought a new Dell Vostro 1400 laptop for my personal use. This one is much more powerful than my older PC and runs Windows Vista with all its effects.
Here is the config of my new laptop…

- 14.1″ UltraSharp(TM) Widescreen WXGA+ (1440×900) TFT Display with TrueLife(TM)
- 2GB (2 X 1024MB) 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM
- NVIDIA(R) GeForce(TM) 8400M GS with 128MB GDDR3 dedicated graphic memory
- 160GB SATA Hard DriveÂ

- All the usual laptop jazz … Bluetooth, Wireless Card, 9 cell battery and 90W AC adapter
I have also got a 160 kbps unlimited internet connection. So I hope to resume my blogging again ….Â
Do tell me whether you like the config or not … ![]()

Cool config man. Like you said it should have no issues in running Vista with all the crap turning on. The question is how much did it cost you?
Nice lappie dude… You forgot to mention its weight.. Why don’t you do a detailed review of the notebook?
@ Ashwin - It set me back by 56K.
@ Beta 3 - It weighs 2.1 kg.
Detailed review… Hmm… May be I will do it.
