Android 4.4 KitKat Update for Galaxy S4 and Note 3 in January 2014

The new version of Android – KitKat 4.4 was released by Google last month. As with every new version of Android, speculation has already started as to which phones will get the update. But for flagship phones like Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 it is not a question of ‘Will’ but ‘When’?

Being the flagships of 2013, these smartphones will definitely get the Android 4.4 KitKat update but unlike other OEM’s like HTC, Samsung has not announced any schedule so far. However a ‘leaked’ document from Samsung reveals that Samsung Galaxy S4 (I9500/I9505) and Galaxy Note 3 (N9000/N9005) will be receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat update as soon as January 2014.
