Finally a new laptop. I have brought a new Dell Vostro 1400 laptop for my personal use. This one is much more powerful than my older PC and runs Windows Vista with all its effects.

Life has come a full circle for me ….

Transition from a tension-free campus life to a full tension corporate life.

For those still groping in the dark on what I am talking about - I have completed by B.Tech. and I am currently working in an IT company. I have been designated as ORACLE APPS DBA and am currently undergoing training for that.
Training has been very hectic but the good thing is it will finish in another 10 days. I have been posted in Hyderabad.

And once I reach there, I hope to resume my blogging again.

By the way I am planning to buy a laptop in the 55K range. It will not be a Macbook. So I want some suggestions as to which brand is better. And if anyone can suggest models then even better.

In ancient times people used to go to the Himalayas for hard meditation. They used to sacrifice all earthly and material plaesures and stayed away from their family.Nowadays they are called software engineers.

This SMS I received sums up my experience nowadays quite well.

Gone are the happy days when I would get up at 9:00 AM in the morning. Here even getting up at 6:00 AM in the morning is not enough.

And to top the fierce training schedules are the food eating problems and the training assessments.

I am waiting for my training to be over. Till then taking out time to post will be difficult. But I will still try to post on weekends.
