So I have got an Apple iPod and want to use iTunes to sync files from my computer to the iPod. For that first all the music files need to be added to the library after which I can sync with iPod. But while adding all my music files to iTunes I faced a peculiar issue. Apple iTunes was not adding half of my music collection to the library. The files were in MP3 format and WMP, Winamp were able to play it without any issues. So this was some quirky issue affecting only iTunes. After a bit of searching on the internet I found the solution: 1. Download and install Foobar2000 from here. 2. Add all your music files to the playlist in foobar2000. 3. Then select all music files (Ctrl + A) in the playlist, right click and select Utilities –> Rebuild MP3 stream * After this is done for all music files try adding them again in iTunes. iTunes will add all the files this time. * – This did not remove any tags from my music files but the embedded album art in the files will get removed.

Technologizer has does a nice side by side comparision of the new Nokia 5800 XpressMusic with the Apple iPhone 3G. The Nokia 5800 comes with 8GB of memory, a single touch screen and Nokia Maps. It does look similar to the iPhone and if the Nokia 5800 is retailing at 387$, it sure is going to attract a lot of buyers. Also it has got some nice features like a better camera with flash, video recording, voice dialing, and FM radio, which the iPhone currently lacks. Will you buy it if it is cheaper than the iPhone ?
